Merry Christmas and welcome to the first blog post from Me & The Boys. Following a very nice Christmas, we’re now chilling out and watching movies when we’re not munching on holiday cookies. I love my macro lens and played around a bit with it last night. Enjoy.

Holiday Traditions
Today we had our annual holiday breakfast at Hat’s house. We started this several years as a way to relax after the holidays and Tay and I always look forward to it. Today Hat did herself proud with some fabulous hot chocolate. She said it was easy.
“I put about 2 heaping tbs. of cocoa and about 1tbs. of sugar in a sauce pan and stirred these dry ingredients to break up the lumps of cocoa. Then added about 3 tbs. of water and stirred quite a bit with a wisk. when this thin paste was very smooth I added about 3 cups of milk, heated slowly and and then at the last minute Equal sweetner to taste.”
